About me

Are you feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain about your next steps?
Whether you're grappling with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship challenges, navigating identity, counselling offers a space to explore your experiences with support and understanding. Together we’ll uncover the root causes of what’s holding you back and work towards greater clarity, confidence, and peace of mind.

As a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, I focus on uncovering the deeper roots of your emotions, thoughts, and behaviours. By bringing unconscious patterns to light, we can understand how past experiences influence your present. This process allows us to identify and shift recurring themes that may be contributing to your feelings of distress or that are holding you back.

I offer one-to-one counselling sessions online or by phone. Whether you’re looking for short-term support on a specific issues,  or longer term exploration of your journey, I offer a confidential non-judgemental space to dive deeply into your personal journey in a collaborative way. Sessions are typically held weekly at a time that works for you.

My core values of empathy, openness, and respect are at the heart of my practice. I am passionate about helping people navigate the complexities of mental health and personal growth. I believe every individual deserves to feel heard, valued, and supported. My professional background spans consultancy, health and social care, sexual health, and nursing care, giving me a broad understanding of different life stages and experiences.

I work affirmatively with a wide range of individuals and communities, including those who identify as LGBTQIA+, are part of polyamorous or ethically non-monogamous relationships, embrace body positivity, or are part of sex-positive spaces.

If you’re ready to take the next step and explore what’s possible I invite you to get in touch for an initial consultation.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
