About me

I am a qualified Psychotherapist, Family Practitioner, Supervisor and a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy). I work with adults and children,  where I hold an additional Diploma in counselling Children and Adolescents.  My offices are based in Dulwich, Crystal Palace and Deptford. Alongside my private practice I also teach adults on their first year of counselling training.

I believe passionately that providing a safe and confidential environment enables people to identify the issues which are causing them distress and jointly work towards enhanced self understanding and development.

In 2016 I became a published author and have written a number of articles for the BACP. You can find my published papers on the BACP website. As well as my private practice, I also work as the lead clinician in a busy therapy department, managing a multidisciplinary team. As a therapist I have experience in working with;

  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Children and Adolescents
  • Enhanced Parent and Child Communications
  • Couples with relationship difficulties
  • Addiction
  • Bereavement
  • Family Issues
  • Parenting issues
  • Low Self Esteem
  • Trauma
  • Suicidal Ideation
  • Domestic Violence
  • Self-harm
  • Identity

My theoretical background is in Person Centred and Systemic modalities, but I also provide CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), which enables me to meet your needs in a variety of different ways, which best suit you.

  • Higher Professional Diploma in Counselling
  • CPCAB Level 6 in Supervision

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
