About me

During this time, I am currently working remotely and am able to offer online and telephone sessions.

Thank you for visiting my profile. I am a qualified and experienced therapist/counsellor and I work with individual adults, adolescents, children and families. I offer a counselling service to adults, couples and families, to support with emotional difficulties including separation, depression, anxiety and relationship issues. I offer regular meetings in a safe and supportive environment, within a professional setting.

I specialise in the following areas of counselling:

Counselling for Adolescents and Young people experiencing:

  • Behavioural problems.
  • Difficulty in forming friendships.
  • Problems within family relationships.

Therapeutic play/Play therapy for children who:

  • Have suffered trauma, loss, separation.
  • Have experienced anxiety/phobias.
  • Appear to be withdrawn or depressed.
  • Who have suffered due to separated or divorced parents or the absence of a parent.

How long does counselling take?

Sometimes it may take a few sessions to help an individual or family find their way at other times difficulties are more complicated and we work for longer to find the best solutions.

How does it help?

Counselling can help when we feel overwhelmed, not sure what to do for the best or feel 'stuck' in repeated patterns of behaviour.

If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact me.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
