About me
About Me
I am an Integrative Counsellor offering a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive space for individuals seeking to address a variety of concerns such as anxiety, low self-esteem, low mood, stress, and more. I understand that each person’s experience is unique, which is why I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches to tailor my support to your individual needs and goals.
With professional and personal experience working with neurodivergent individuals, I have gained a deeper understanding of the challenges that others may face and the strengths they bring to therapy. My approach is flexible, compassionate, and respectful of each person’s unique journey.
My Practice
In our work together, I believe in the importance of creating a collaborative relationship where you feel heard, understood, and self-assured. I will work alongside you to help you explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours in a way that feels comfortable, supporting you to find a more balanced and fulfilling sense of well-being.
I offer in-person therapy in Boughton-under-Blean, which is easily accessible by car and public transport with nearby parking and a bus stop close by. For those who would prefer remote sessions, I also offer online therapy via Zoom, providing flexibility to fit your schedule.
Sessions are 50 minutes long, and I am committed to providing a safe, non-judgemental space where we can work at a pace that feels right for you. I believe that therapy is not just about addressing challenges but also about recognising and building on your strengths. My aim is to help you gain insight, build coping strategies, and ultimately, find a way forward that feels right for you.
Introductory call
I offer a free 20-minute introductory call, which gives us a chance to discuss what you’re hoping to achieve through therapy and to explore how I work. The call also includes a brief safeguarding assessment to ensure that our work together is safe and appropriate for your needs. It’s an opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have before we begin our sessions. You can book an introductory call using the link at the top of the page.
Getting in touch with me
I welcome you to email me or to call me via the telephone using the links at the top of the page, should you have any further queries. Due to the nature of my work, I may not always be able to answer the telephone. In this instance please leave me a message and I will return your call when I am available.
Training, qualifications & experience
Training, Qualifications and Experience
I hold a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, which has equipped me with the skills and knowledge to support individuals facing a range of concerns. I recognise that each person’s perspective is shaped by their unique experiences, values, beliefs, and cultural background. I have experience working with individuals from a variety of cultural backgrounds, and I am committed to creating an inclusive and respectful space for everyone.
In addition to my professional training, I also have personal and professional experience working with individuals who are neurodivergent. This has deepened my understanding of the diverse challenges and strengths that some may experience, and I approach my work with empathy, respect, and a flexible approach tailored to each individual.
Therapeutic Approach
I have experience supporting individuals with concerns including anxiety, low self-esteem, low mood, and stress. In our work together, I focus on exploring and understanding your personal values, helping you gain clarity on what truly matters to you. My aim is to support you in building confidence and achieving a sense of self-assurance, while providing a safe, non-judgmental space for you to work through your challenges at your own pace.
Online Counselling Training
In addition to my in-person practice, I am fully trained and certified to offer online therapy, ensuring that I provide a service that is effective, ethical, safe, and secure. This enables me to offer the same high standard of care to clients remotely.
Teaching and Mentoring
I am also a co-tutor at a local counselling training centre, where I help students achieve their qualifications in therapeutic counselling. This role allows me to stay up-to-date with developments in the field and share my knowledge with the next generation of counsellors.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
