About me
Hi, I’m Leon, an Integrative Counsellor, Psychotherapist and Clinical Supervisor offering sessions online and in Hampton Hill (SW London)
I understand that starting therapy can feel like a big step. Many people come to counselling feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves, or simply tired of carrying things alone. My aim is to offer a space that feels calm, genuine, and free from judgment, where you can speak openly and feel truly heard.
Before retraining as a therapist, I worked in very different environments, including scaffolding and over a decade in the television industry. Those experiences gave me an understanding of pressure, burnout, identity, and what it can feel like to keep functioning outwardly whilst struggling underneath. Therapy became a turning point in my life and eventually led me to retrain as a therapist.
My approach is relational, down-to-earth, and collaborative. I’m interested in understanding the bigger picture of who you are, your history, relationships, emotions, patterns, and the experiences that may have shaped the way you move through the world today.
I work with a wide range of issues, including:
anxiety and depression
trauma and childhood adversity
low self-esteem
relationship difficulties
stress and burnout
neurodiversity
men’s mental health
grief and loss
identity and life transitions
Alongside my practice, I have worked in community counselling, youth, and alcohol/addiction services. They have incorporated clinical assessments, triage and prescribing protocols. Overall, I have supported people from many different backgrounds, incorporating both short and long-term therapeutic work.
I believe therapy does not need to feel cold or overly clinical. Sometimes the most important part is simply having a space where you can slow down, reflect, make sense of your experiences, and begin to understand yourself more deeply, at your own pace.
Training, qualifications & experience
CPCAB L6 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling Supervision
CPCAB L5 Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling
CPCAB L4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling.
My training was highly experiential, grounded in deep personal participation. The process involved immersive methods such as psychodrama and dynamic meditation, which encouraged profound self-exploration. Through this, I confronted vulnerability, worked through resistance, and challenged old patterns of relating.
It felt, at times, like a kind of alchemy; the therapeutic process applied its own 'magical heat', forging lasting change. That journey transformed me, not just professionally, but personally. I believe we’re all shaped in this way, each of us forged in the process of our lives, incorporating our unique truths and experiences.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Additional information
If this is your first time considering therapy, I understand that reaching out can feel daunting. I still remember my own first experience of therapy — feeling out of my comfort zone and unsure where to begin. That’s completely natural.
You may have questions, feel uncertain, or simply want to know a little more about the process and how I work. I’d invite you to get in touch for an initial chat with no pressure or obligation. I believe finding the right counsellor is important, and I want people to have the space to make an informed choice that feels right for them.
There’s no hard sell or gimmicks here. If you decide you’d like to move forward, we can begin exploring what has brought you to therapy, what you hope to gain from the process, and how we might work together.
