About me

Hello, I'm Lena and I want to help you feel better.

Phone appointments now available, please call if you need to talk.

I strive to see all new clients within 48 hours so please call - let's start to make you feel more like you.Finding the right counsellor for you

Trying to find the right counsellor for you can be a daunting prospect and seeking help is hard. We all experience challenging periods in life and I would like to help you find your way through. If you are finding it difficult to cope and you are looking for more peace in yourself, I am genuinely looking forward to helping you find the right answers. They are there, sometimes we just need help finding them. I have experience working with a wide variety of clients, in part gained by working with Mind, one of the biggest mental health charities in the UK.

My aim is to help you make positive changes in your life and help you face any difficulties you might be facing, such depression, anxiety, relationship problems or anything else you might be struggling to cope with.

I have considerable experience working with and being with people with Autism and I would really welcome anyone affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder to get in contact. I run sessions for parents of children that have been diagnosed with Autism to help them come to terms with the diagnosis and make plans for the future.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a professional, qualified therapeutic counsellor and a member of the BACP. I adhere to their ethical framework.

I gained my Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling through the CPCAB and have had four years experience in the counselling field.

Member organisations

BACP

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

You can contact the counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
