About me

I am a qualified counsellor offering a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings openly. I understand that reaching out for support can feel daunting, so I aim to create an environment where you feel at ease, respected, and genuinely listened to from the very beginning. My approach is warm, collaborative, and centred on your individual needs, recognising that each person’s experiences and journey are unique.

I work integratively, drawing primarily from person-centred counselling while incorporating elements from other approaches, such as CBT, to suit what works best for you. This means our work together is flexible and tailored, rather than one-size-fits-all. Together, we can work at your pace to explore challenges, make sense of your experiences, and support you in finding meaningful ways forward that feel right for you.

I have experience supporting clients with a wide range of issues, including grief and loss, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, stress, low self-esteem, and life transitions. I am particularly mindful of the importance of feeling understood and accepted, especially during difficult or uncertain times.

Whether you are seeking short-term support to navigate a specific difficulty, or longer-term work for deeper exploration and personal growth, I will provide a compassionate and consistent space where you can feel heard, valued, and supported. My aim is to help you build greater self-awareness, resilience, and confidence as you move towards the changes you would like to see in your life.
