Leanne Theron, BA(Hons), Registered MBACP, Partner at the Practice
I offer a comfortable space for you to talk and reflect, whether that be about your past experiences, present challenges or future worries.
Talk therapy can be very beneficial in helping to explore and sort through what is challenging you, potentially holding you back or making you unhappy. It can be helpful to put aspects of yourself and your life into perspective, empowering you to take back control of your life.
I am a degree qualified psychotherapeutic counsellor and practice using an integrative relational approach. The integrative part allows me to draw from a number of theories, giving me the flexibility to tailor the therapy to your needs and to fully support you during your sessions. I work relationally and believe the strength of the therapeutic relationship is an important part of the success of therapy.
Please contact me via email or mobile if you have any questions.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have many years experience working with a wide range of clients of all ages, male and female within a NHS GP Practice.
Currently I work from my private practice in East Molesey and am flexible in being able to offer you either individual short term or long term therapy.
I trained at Middlesex University graduating with a BA (Hons) degree in Integrative Relational Counselling.
I am a registered member of the BACP and work within the guidelines outlined by the Ethical Framework for Counselling Professions.

Other areas of counselling I deal with
Please contact me if your needs or an area of concern for you is not listed above. We can discuss this further and if I am not the right person for you with the right experience, hopefully I will be able to refer you to someone who can help you.
The initial session is £30.00.
A session is 50 minutes.
If it feels right for you and you would like to continue with therapy, the charge per session is £60.00.
Fees are payable before the session by bank transfer or if you prefer at the start of the session by cash.
The initial session
You have the opportunity during the first session to let me know what brings you to therapy and what you would like to achieve during our time together. Not everyone has a specific goal in mind but perhaps with increased self awareness you may find one. Having a space to simply talk and reflect can be good enough.
If you feel unsure about committing after the initial session, I hope I can put your mind at ease with the reassurance that there is no expectation for any future commitment.
What happens next?
If you feel comfortable with me and can see the benefits of talk therapy, then we can discuss further sessions. You will have the opportunity to go away and reflect on the first session before deciding what you would like to do.
Short term or long term?
You decide! The amount of therapy you have depends on your needs and we can review this on a regular basis.
