About me

Hi I’m Lawrence a psychotherapeutic counsellor seeing clients in Carmarthen and Cardigan. Qualified for over 14 years specialising in working with Young People and Adults, I offer effective approaches for issues relating to; anxiety, low mood, motivation, addictions, relationships, loss and self-harm. Contact me to discuss your needs and arrange an initial consultation. Low-cost rates for students, student counsellors and those on low incomes.

I am a fully qualified psychotherapeutic counsellor and an Accredited member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP). My aim is to create a safe therapeutic space where you can discuss and explore difficulties that you may be experiencing. I will support you to find strategies and solutions to the problems you face. I am able to work short term or can offer longer term support if needed. I place you the client at the heart of my work and look to bring my experience and understanding of the human condition to help my clients.

I am particularly interested in ways of working with anxiety and trauma and have been developing approaches to these issues over the last few years. I have extensive experience working with young people (11-18) and have a post-graduate qualification and Masters in this area. I also have experience of working with people experiencing long-term chronic illness.

I am able to see clients in either Carmarthen, Cardigan or Newcastle Emlyn. Please contact me for details and for dates and times. Or if you prefer I offer online counselling via Skype.
