About me
Looking for a counsellor can feel daunting, especially if you've never had counselling before. My aim is to make the process feel as straightforward and comfortable as possible by offering a warm, collaborative space where we can explore what's been going on and work towards the changes you'd like to make.
My approach is tailored to you as an individual. I believe there isn't a "one size fits all" approach that works for everyone, and so I draw on different therapeutic approaches and work alongside you to find what feels most helpful for your needs and goals.
I work with adults experiencing mild to moderate emotional and psychological difficulties, including anxiety, stress, low mood, self-esteem, confidence, life changes, relationship difficulties, work-related pressures, chronic pain and health-related challenges.
If, during our introductory call, I feel that your needs would be better supported by a therapist with specialist experience in another area, I will always discuss this openly and help guide you towards more appropriate support where possible.
Choosing the right counsellor is important, so I offer a free, no-obligation 15-minute introductory call, giving us the opportunity to see whether we feel we'd work well together before making any commitment.
I work online only.
I currently offer appointments Tuesday to Friday (9:30am - 2:30pm).
I work with individual adults and do not offer couples counselling.
If you feel I may be the right counsellor for you, please contact me via email to arrange a free, no-obligation, introductory call (up to 15 minutes) by phone.
My counselling approach is pluralistic, meaning that I tailor the theories, strategies, or tools to each client individually to best support them in achieving their goals.
