About me

Dr Lauren is a warm, thoughtful and experienced Clinical Psychologist qualifying in 2024 from the University of Leeds, Dr Lauren has over 15 years of experience working in mental health settings across the UK and Australia. She has supported both adults and young people in NHS, community, and private settings, and now divides her time between the NHS and private clinics as a clinical psychologist and clinical supervisor. Due to her experience, Dr Lauren also works with young people and families, offering a safe, supportive space to explore challenges during what can be a complex and important stage of life.

Her areas of expertise include anxiety (general anxiety, panic, health anxiety and OCD), low mood, complex trauma and many more. She also works with couples and families, offering thoughtful, relational support.

Dr Lauren is a trained Clinical Psychologist and holds a Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Leeds, a Master's of Research (MSc), and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) from the University of Liverpool. 

Dr Lauren is trained in multiple therapy approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT) informed approaches, Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR)
