About me

Hi, my name is Lauren and to begin with, I would like to acknowledge that you have taken the first step to finding a counsellor. Making the initial move can feel unnerving and possibly daunting, so I would like to thank you for taking the time to visit my profile.

Within this current climate, people are struggling more than ever and you may find yourself feeling anxious, stressed or overwhelmed. It could be that you are struggling with everyday life or having relationship problems. You may feel you have lost yourself in some way or maybe your life has changed direction and you are not happy with the change. Whatever your reason for seeking counselling, Blue Sky Counselling is here for you.

I specialise in person centred counselling which means; I work at your pace and walk with you offering empathy and understanding with a non-judgemental attitude with whatever you may bring to the session. The space that I provide is confidential and supports each client individually and is tailored to suit your needs.

I work with people with a variety of problems/difficulties but I specialise in anxiety, generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), panic disorder, depression, mood disorders and confidence issues.

I am qualified to work remotely which can be via zoom, WhatsApp, telephone or by SMS text service. I am a fully qualified person-centred counsellor and an individual member of the (BACP) - British Association For counselling And psychotherapy; which means that I work alongside this ethical framework.

When you are ready, please feel free to contact me for a free no obligation consultation and let's see if together we can help you to find your blue sky again.

Thank you.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
