About me
Do you have a particular issue you would like support with? Maybe you are not quite sure where to start. I can work with you to focus on the changes you want to see. My approach is grounded in empathy, connection, and the belief that everyone has the capacity for positive change, no matter their current anxieties or past experiences.
I will provide couples with a safe and respectful space where both partners can feel heard and understood. Together, we can explore the patterns, beliefs, and unmet needs that may create tension, anxiety or distance. I believe that with improved communication and compassionate understanding, every couple has the potential to develop a healthier, more resilient bond. Whether you’re going through a major life transition, recovering from past hurts, or simply looking to deepen your connection, I’m here to support you in creating a healthy relationship.
I am a qualified practitioner registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. I believe therapy can help transform how you experience life and relationships. I can help you identify and talk through difficult feelings without fear of judgment.
As an integrative counsellor, I work holistically to adapt to your needs. My training encompasses methods from cognitive-behavioural therapy, mindfulness practices, attachment theory, and emotionally-focused therapy. This approach ensures that each session is both collaborative and personalised.
Training, qualifications & experience
As a counsellor, I have provided therapy through the NHS Talking Therapies service, working with clients to alleviate the symptoms of anxiety and depression.
Much of my background is in working with those who have experienced trauma and are living with the deep-rooted effects of this. I have supported those affected by homelessness, addiction, domestic abuse and mental ill health. I have also worked with people with symptoms of personality disorders, supporting them on a journey of stabilisation. I have seen the devastating consequences of trauma, but I have also seen how transformational it is when people are supported to live a life free from these effects.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
