I work regularly with people who have anxiety I am an ANXIETY UK approved therapist, so I understand how difficult anxiety can be for you and have helped many people, like yourself, overcome the effects anxiety has on your life.
CBT Therapy (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) has been proven to help reduce anxiety symptoms. I combine both talking therapy and CBT to understand why you have anxiety and the best ways to help you manage it.
Counselling should be a good experience for you and I focus very much on the relationship that we have, the more comfortable you feel the more you will gain from your counselling.

Were you a victim of Childhood abuse?

Exploring past trauma and finding ways to cope with life better,can be extremely difficult. I understand this, but I am here to be by your side and help you cope with those difficult feelings and memories.

Can you afford Counselling?
I believe counselling should be available to everyone. Please do not let cost be a barrier to you accessing counselling when you need it most, I can offer reduced rates so please do ask.
Your 1st session is at the reduced rate of £20, you can then decide if I am the right counsellor for you.
Thereafter a 50 minute session will usually be £40.

My standard session fee is £40.
However, I believe Counselling should be available to everyone and cost should not be a barrier to you being able to access Counselling.
I, therefore, offer a sliding scale depending on your circumstances, which we discuss at your Introductory session.
I also offer a discount for block bookings as attending counselling on a weekly basis is shown to be more beneficial.
If you are a trainee counsellor call me to discuss my discounted rates for students.
My therapy room is easy to find. There is plenty of parking available and buses stop near by.
