About me

Hi I’m Kirsty, a BABCP-accredited High Intensity CBT Therapist. I may not have all the answers, but I do have questions, compassion, and a collaborative approach to try and help you get back to focusing on what matters most to you.

In my practice, I believe therapy is about so much more than just managing symptoms or getting through the week. When anxiety, trauma, or depression take over, it is incredibly easy to lose our bearings and find ourselves simply surviving day-to-day. In its essence, my approach is to help you gently reconnect with a more meaningful life – however that looks for you.

By noticing the patterns of thinking and behaving that may no longer be serving you, we can start to challenge these together, while discovering what truly matters to you, helping you move away from a place of exhaustion and back towards a life that feels authentic and worthwhile.

With nearly a decade of experience across NHS adult and children’s mental health services, I understand how crucial the therapeutic relationship is (more than any particular mode of therapy), and I will do my utmost to provide an empathic and non-judgemental space so that you feel safe to explore things you may have understandably tried to avoid.

Originally from Yorkshire, I now live in Worcester with my family and my dog Rodney. Please do get in touch to organise a free, 30-minute consultation where we can think about how therapy might work for you and whether you feel my approach would be helpful.
