About me
No matter what stage of life you're in, there are times when life can leave you feeling overwhelmed, anxious, emotionally exhausted or disconnected from yourself.
You may be struggling to cope with the demands of daily life, finding it difficult to manage your emotions, relationships or responsibilities, feeling stuck in unhelpful patterns, carrying the impact of trauma, loss or burnout, or constantly putting everyone else's needs before your own. Perhaps you simply know that something doesn't feel right anymore, but you're not sure why or how to move forward.
Counselling offers a space to pause, breathe and reconnect with yourself, rediscover your strengths, values and sense of self, and begin moving towards a life that feels more authentic, balanced and fulfilling.
While anxiety, overwhelm, stress or low mood may be what's bringing you to counselling, these experiences are often only part of the story. Together, we'll gently explore what lies beneath them, helping you understand the experiences and patterns that may be contributing to how you're feeling. As your understanding grows, you'll begin to let go of what no longer serves you and create meaningful, lasting change.
Alongside this deeper exploration, we'll develop practical coping strategies, personalised tools and an understanding of how your nervous system responds to stress, helping you manage difficult emotions, strengthen your relationships, and feel calmer, more grounded, balanced and connected to yourself, both during therapy and beyond.
I offer a warm, compassionate, authentic and non-judgemental space where you can feel heard, understood and accepted exactly as you are. We'll work collaboratively, at a pace that feels right for you, building a trusting therapeutic relationship where you feel safe to explore your experiences with curiosity and compassion.
I bring over 25 years' experience supporting people across mental health, trauma, neurodiversity, substance misuse, complex needs and women's services. As a BACP-registered integrative counsellor, I draw on this breadth of experience to offer compassionate, holistic therapy that recognises the connection between your mind, body, life experiences and emotional wellbeing. Every session is tailored to you, supporting your overall wellbeing, not simply the symptoms that brought you to counselling.
I believe therapy isn't about fixing you, because you aren't broken. It's about creating the space to understand yourself with compassion, heal from life's experiences, and reconnect with the person you truly are, so you can emerge with greater clarity, confidence and a renewed sense of wellbeing and balance.
If you're ready to take the next step, I'd be honoured to support you on your journey towards reconnecting with yourself and creating meaningful, lasting change. Reach out and book a free 30-minute connection call to discuss what has brought you to counselling, answer any questions, and explore whether working together feels like the right fit.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

My holistic approach extends beyond the counselling room. Clients can choose to receive a complimentary Hope Wellbeing aromatherapeutic rollerball to complement the therapeutic work we do together, supporting grounding, relaxation and nervous system regulation. Alongside the tools and strategies we explore in counselling, it becomes part of your personalised wellbeing toolkit, helping you build sustainable practices that support calm, resilience and emotional wellbeing in everyday life.
