About me

Your mental health matters just as much as your physical health. As both a counsellor and personal trainer, I support clients holistically - working with mind and body together. By exploring your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, you can begin to regain a sense of control. Alongside this, learning what your body needs, through nutrition, movement, sleep, and balance - can help you feel more grounded and reconnect with yourself.

Whether it is you or your child that is finding day to day life overwhelming, I am here to provide a warm, confidential, non-judgemental space where you can express yourself. Together we can help grow your self-esteem, build resilience and increase self-awareness, so you feel more able to cope not just now, but in the future too.

I understand talking about issues and feelings can be difficult, so I am able to work creatively to help unlock what you may be unable to say. I am also aware, the thought of talking face to face can seem overwhelming, so I offer walk & talk therapy, as walking side by side may work best for you. Additionally, meeting online in the comfort of your own home; I am able to adapt to your needs & to what suits you best.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
