About me

Counselling for Anxiety, Low Self-Esteem and Emotional Overwhelm.

Maybe you're someone who holds everything together on the outside while quietly struggling on the inside. You overthink, you second-guess yourself, and there's a voice in your head that tells you everyone else is coping better than you are. It's exhausting and lately, pushing through feels harder than ever. But going easier on yourself, let alone resting? That feels surprisingly difficult too.

That's exactly the kind of thing I work with.

Counselling with me is a space to be honest about how things really feel - no pressure, no judgement. Together we can look at what's driving the anxiety or overwhelm, understand where that inner critic comes from, and start to loosen its grip.

I work with adults dealing with anxiety, low self-esteem, low confidence, loneliness and the emotional side of neurodivergence, including ADHD. My approach is warm and grounded, and we work at your pace - baby steps are embraced here.

Training, qualifications & experience

I hold an Advanced Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling and work as an integrative counsellor. This means I draw on different therapeutic approaches, including Person-Centred, Psychodynamic and CBT, tailoring our work to suit your needs.

Before starting my private practice, I gained clinical experience at CrossReach and Queen Margaret University, supporting clients experiencing anxiety, low self-esteem, life transitions and stress.

I also hold an ADHD coaching and Neurodiversity coaching qualification, which deepens my understanding of the emotional impact of ADHD and informs how I work with neurodivergent clients.

I offer both short-term and longer-term counselling. Some people prefer to work towards a set timeframe, while others choose to keep the process open-ended. Our work together is always guided by your pace and what feels most helpful for you.
