About me
I am a BABCP accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist with extensive experience working in NHS Talking Therapies (formerly IAPT) services. I specialise in supporting individuals with a wide range of common mental health difficulties, including depression, anxiety disorders (such as OCD, social anxiety, health anxiety, body dysmorphia, panic disorder, specific phobias and agoraphobia), trauma and PTSD, eating difficulties, and habit disorders (including trichotillomania and dermatillomania).
My approach is grounded in evidence-based practice and guided by NICE (National Institute for Health and Care Excellence) recommendations, ensuring the therapy you receive is both clinically effective and tailored to your unique needs.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a structured, goal-focused approach that helps people understand the connections between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. In our work, we’ll identify unhelpful patterns, develop practical strategies, and build skills to manage difficulties more effectively and create lasting change.
Above all, I aim to offer a compassionate, thoughtful, and collaborative space where we can make sense of what you’re going through and explore a way forward that feels meaningful and manageable for you.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a BABCP accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist with postgraduate qualifications in both Low Intensity and High Intensity CBT. Since 2017, I have worked in NHS Talking Therapies (formerly IAPT), supporting individuals presenting with a wide range of common mental health difficulties.
Alongside my core training in CBT, I am currently completing training in Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy (DIT), and upon qualification will be eligible for registration with the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC). This training complements my CBT work by enhancing my ability to work with relational and emotional patterns.
My approach is evidence-based and aligned with NICE guidelines, and I maintain regular supervision and ongoing professional development to ensure high-quality, ethical practice.

school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
