About me
Taking the first step towards counselling can feel daunting, but you don't have to face things alone. I offer a warm, supportive and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly and feel heard.
I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, low self-esteem and the lasting impact of difficult or unhealthy relationships. Together, we will explore your experiences, understand patterns that may be affecting your wellbeing, and work towards helping you feel more confident, resilient and in control of your life.
I believe that every person is unique, so there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. Our work together is a collaboration, tailored to your individual needs, goals and pace. Rather than limiting therapy to a set number of sessions, we will regularly review your progress and decide together what feels right for you.
As well as face to face, I also offer online counselling, allowing you to access support from the comfort and privacy of your own home, wherever you are in the UK and this can be easier to fit into your schedule.
I also offer walk and talk therapy for clients who may feel more comfortable outdoors, being in nature and moving at a gentle pace can help people to feel more relaxed and able to express themselves more easily.
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold an NSPC Diploma in Counselling and am committed to providing ethical, compassionate and professional support.
Alongside my private practice, I volunteer with a local counselling charity. This experience has allowed me to support people from a wide range of backgrounds who are facing many different challenges. It has strengthened my belief that everyone deserves access to high-quality counselling, regardless of their circumstances.
I am committed to continuing my professional development to ensure my knowledge and skills remain current, enabling me to offer the best possible support to my clients.

Additional information
My initial consultation is free giving us an opportunity to get to know each other and discuss what has brought you to counselling. I believe it's important that you feel comfortable and good therapeutic relationship is key to successful counselling.
My usual fee for sessions is then £40 but I do offer some concessionary rate appointments when finances are a barrier to obtaining counselling, subject to availability.
Further information
I strongly believe that counselling should be accessible to everyone, not just those who can afford high fees. For this reason, I keep my private practice fees competitive and offer a limited number of concessionary-rate appointments for those experiencing financial hardship, where availability allows.
My aim is to build a genuine therapeutic relationship where you feel safe, respected and understood. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, feeling weighed down by low self-esteem, or trying to move forward from difficult relationships, I will work alongside you with compassion and without judgement.
If you're considering counselling and would like to find out whether we're a good fit, I'd be happy to hear from you.
