About me

Hello and welcome, my name is Kelly. I am an experienced and qualified integrative counsellor working with children, teens, and adults. I specialise in supporting individuals facing a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, trauma, grief, identity issues, stress and neurodiversity

Life can sometimes feel overwhelming. You might be feeling stuck, disconnected, or uncertain about where to turn. If that resonates with you, know that you are not alone, and you don't have to face this journey by yourself. I offer a warm, compassionate, and non-judgmental space to explore what feels difficult or unclear right now.

My Approach / How I Can Help You

My integrative approach means I draw from a variety of therapeutic models, allowing me to tailor our sessions to your unique needs and what feels right for you. This flexibility enables us to work together in a way that best supports you.

A key part of our work will involve understanding your internal world and how past experiences shape your present-day behaviours. We will explore how early relationships might have influenced your patterns of attachment, emotional regulation, and sense of self-worth.

The therapeutic relationship itself is central to the work we do. It provides a safe, consistent space where you can begin to process trauma, explore your identity, and build your capacity for self-reflection for positive change. I will support you in discovering your inner strengths, deepening your self-awareness, and moving toward the healing and wholeness you deserve.

Through empathy, connection, and trust, we will work collaboratively to help you gain clarity, navigate life’s challenges, and reconnect with your sense of self. As someone who has worked through past challenges of my own, I understand the importance of a warm and confidential space to build trust and begin meaningful exploration.

What Happens in a Therapy Session?

Therapy is your time and space. Sessions move at a pace that feels comfortable for you, whether you want to talk, reflect, express, or simply be heard.

In our time together, you will be met with kindness, care, and curiosity. We will explore what is troubling you and how it impacts your life, relationships, and wellbeing. Along the way, we will identify new perspectives and coping strategies to support your growth and healing.

Ready to Begin?

Taking the first step toward therapy can feel daunting, but it can also be incredibly powerful. If you have any questions or would like to explore how I can support you, please feel free to get in touch to arrange a free consultation.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and hold BSc (Hons) Counselling degree. Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
