About me

Hi, my name is Keeley. Welcome to my page.

Whether you're facing a specific challenge or simply feeling overwhelmed by the demands of everyday life, you don't have to navigate it alone. Sometimes it's the gradual build-up of stress, anxiety, self-doubt, difficult relationships, or the constant pressure of trying to keep everything together that can leave us feeling exhausted, stuck, or unlike ourselves. You may have reached a point where you're ready for things to feel different. I offer a warm, compassionate, and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly, feel genuinely heard, and explore whatever is on your mind at your own pace.

Each person is unique and brings their own experiences, values, and challenges into the counselling space, no two counselling journeys are ever the same. By working collaboratively we can create a relationship built on trust, acceptance, and understanding, enabling you to explore your thoughts and emotions, navigate life's obstacles, and discover a way forward that feels right for you.

Having changed careers in recent years, I understand that life can bring unexpected transitions and challenges. This has given me a greater appreciation of how the demands of work, relationships and everyday responsibilities can gradually take their toll on our emotional wellbeing. Sometimes we cope for a long time before realising we're feeling stuck, exhausted, or disconnected from who we are. Counselling offers a space to pause, make sense of what's happening, and explore ways of moving forward with greater clarity, resilience, and self-compassion. Whatever you're facing, you don't have to navigate it alone.

Through my work with a carers' charity, I have supported people in a wide range of caring roles and understand the unique pressures and responsibilities that come with being a carer. Caring for someone you love can be deeply meaningful, but it can also be emotionally and physically demanding. Counselling offers a confidential, non-judgemental space enabling you to explore the challenges, process difficult emotions and reconnect with your own needs and identity. You don't have to carry everything on your own. Counselling can provide the support, understanding, and perspective that helps you continue caring for others while also caring for yourself.

From personal experience, I know that choosing the right counsellor can feel overwhelming and taking the first step to talk and share your thoughts isn't always easy. The relationship between counsellor and client is one of the most important elements of the counselling process, so it's essential that you feel comfortable, heard, and able to be yourself. I offer a free initial phone call to give us the opportunity to have a chat, answer any questions you may have, and see whether we feel like a good fit to work together.

I offer face-to-face counselling in M31 and M41, online sessions and Walk and Talk therapy at multiple locations.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
