About me
Welcome! I’m Kayleigh, an integrative therapist dedicated to providing a supportive and non-judgmental space for your therapeutic journey. My approach is pluralistic, ensuring that your unique preferences and choices are honoured throughout our work together.
I believe in a collaborative and client-centred approach to therapy. Your voice is central to the therapeutic process, and I am committed to working with you to ensure your goals are met. My aim is to create a warm and welcoming environment where you feel safe to explore your thoughts and emotions without fear of judgment.
Therapeutic Approach: Offering both short and long term therapy, I utilise a variety of therapeutic modalities to best suit your needs, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Person-Centred Therapy. By integrating these approaches, I aim to empower you to explore your thoughts and emotions and develop healthier coping strategies.
Professional Experience: My experience as a therapist within charities and schools, working with adults, young people, and children, has provided me with a diverse understanding of the challenges individuals face.
Drawing on both talking and creative therapeutic approaches, I tailor sessions to each individual's needs and welcome a collaborative approach with clients. This ensures that therapy is both accessible and effective.
What to Expect: In our sessions, you can expect a compassionate and empathetic approach. We will work together to identify your goals and develop strategies to achieve them, checking in on these through reviews. Whether you are seeking support for specific issues or looking to enhance your overall well-being, I am here to guide you through the process. I offer both short and long-term counselling sessions based on your needs, individual requirements and preferences.
Getting Started: Embarking on a therapeutic journey is a significant and courageous step. I invite you to reach out and we can have an initial call to discuss your current situation and if we are a good fit. Let’s work together to create a path that leads to a more balanced and fulfilling life.
I offer short and long-term, counselling for adults and young people, including a number of keyworker and student counselling sessions at a reduced rate during day time hours.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
