About me

Thank you for taking the time to view my profile. I am a HCPC registered Psychologist with over 10 years of experience working in physical and mental health. I work within the NHS as a Health Psychologist offering psychological therapy and in private practice.

I specialise in the assessment and treatment of adults with a range of psychological, emotional and physical health difficulties including anxiety and depression. I also help and support people living with long term health conditions. I offer a safe, non judgemental space to support you in managing and working through your difficulties. My approach to therapy enables you to manage difficulties more effectively to enable you to live a rich and more meaningful quality of life.

I use a mixture of therapies including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Solution Focussed Brief Therapy (SFBT). I understand it can be challenging to seek a therapist who you feel comfortable working with, which is why I offer a free 20 minute consultation to help you decide if I am the therapist for you.

HCPC
Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
