About me
I'm an integrative counsellor based in Cheltenham and Shurdington, offering face-to-face counselling from a choice of welcoming venues, as well as online sessions. I work with adults aged 18 and over and offer appointments during the day and in the evenings throughout the week.
I am passionate about helping people understand and accept all parts of themselves. I know that many of us carry feelings of shame, guilt, self-doubt, or the belief that we're somehow "not enough." My hope is to offer a compassionate, thoughtful, and non-judgemental space where we can gently explore your experiences together, helping you make sense of the patterns that may be keeping you stuck.
At the heart of my work is the therapeutic relationship. I believe that when you feel genuinely heard, understood, and accepted, meaningful change becomes possible. I also believe that you are the expert in your own life. My role is not to tell you what to do, but to work alongside you with curiosity, empathy, and gentle challenge as you develop greater self-awareness, self-belief, and confidence.
My approach is trauma-informed and tailored to you as an individual. I have a particular interest in working with trauma and neurodivergence, and my passion for supporting neurodivergent clients is informed by both professional and lived experience.
Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, anxious, struggling with low self-esteem, living with the effects of trauma, or simply feeling stuck, therapy can provide the opportunity to better understand yourself, move away from shame and self-criticism, and towards self-acceptance, resilience, and living a life that feels more authentic to you.
Training, qualifications & experience
My journey into counselling has been shaped by both my professional experience and my genuine passion for understanding people. Over the past 17 years, I have had the privilege of working with children, young people, adults, parents, and families in a variety of settings, including education, fostering, and mental health services. These experiences have deepened my understanding of the many ways people experience the world and continue to inspire the way I work today.
I am a qualified integrative counsellor with a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling. I also hold a Degree in Communications and Psychology and am a qualified Behaviour Practitioner. I am committed to ongoing professional development, ensuring my practice is informed by current research and evidence-based approaches.
Throughout my career, I have developed particular knowledge and experience in attachment, complex trauma, neurodivergence, the nervous system, and the impact of shame. I have also worked extensively with parents of neurodivergent children, supporting them to better understand their child's needs through a therapeutic, compassionate approach.
More than anything, I am passionate about helping people feel comfortable in their own skin. I know how easy it is to become disconnected from ourselves through difficult experiences, trauma, shame, or self-doubt. My hope is to help you better understand all parts of yourself, move away from self-criticism, and towards greater self-acceptance, self-belief, and confidence.

I believe that therapy should be as accessible as possible. For this reason, I offer a sliding scale for my fees, recognising that everyone's circumstances are different. If you're interested in working with me but are concerned about the cost, please don't hesitate to get in touch. I'm always happy to have a conversation about what might be possible.
I also offer reduced-fee sessions for trainee counsellors who are undertaking their personal therapy as part of their training requirements. I understand the commitment involved in training to become a counsellor and am pleased to be able to support students on their professional journey.
