Relationships, Trauma, Intimacy & Life's Difficult Questions

About me

Relationships, Trauma, Intimacy & Life's Difficult Questions
When old patterns no longer work.

Many people seek therapy because something in life, a relationship, or within themselves no longer feels sustainable. You may be navigating complex relationship difficulties, the effects of trauma, challenges around intimacy, or a major life transition. Perhaps you are facing a growing sense that you have lost touch with who you are and what matters to you. I am committed to providing a compassionately supportive, respectful, professional, and inclusive trauma-informed space.

I work with individuals and partners from all backgrounds, cultures, and walks of life, providing a secure online space internationally, alongside my local in-person practice in Northallerton. Bringing a deep systemic lens from my Master of Social Work (MSW) background, alongside a rich understanding of attachment theory and child development, I have undergone significant post-qualification training to offer specialised trauma therapy to adults, adolescents, and children.

My professional background is heavily anchored in offering compassionate insight and building resilience for individuals navigating demanding organisational roles, high-stakes environments, and intense emotional workloads. I specialise in equipping caregivers and parents to navigate the profound practical and emotional realities of supporting children with neurodivergence, SEN, and acute healthcare needs. Through a trauma-informed lens, I provide deep containment and collaborative intervention for individuals and families dealing with high-stress lifestyle transitions, secondary trauma, isolation, grief and loss, relationship dissolution, and family estrangement.

Because of the deeply sensitive nature of our work together, my practice is anchored in a culture of absolute discretion and respect, and a down-to-earth understanding of complex lifestyle demands. I do not sit above you as an unshakeable expert. Instead, we work collaboratively to increase your self-awareness and build a space rooted in relational trust, allowing you to safely consider new choices. Together, we can explore the immediate stress that brings you to therapy, alongside the deeper patterns, emotional experiences, and questions of meaning that lie beneath them.

My practice is dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and professionals navigate complex life transitions, untangle recurring patterns, and foster deeper intimacy and communication. Rather than focusing on short-term fixes, our work together centers on creating lasting, meaningful change. I provide a highly confidential space tailored to the unique lifestyle demands of international families, executives, and high-pressure professionals.

Individual & Couples/Relationship Therapy: Fees reflect the specialized, depth-oriented nature of our sessions, my cross-jurisdictional availability, and the coordination required to operate across different international time zones. Therapy is offered securely online for international clients, as well as in person at my Northallerton practice. A comprehensive Fee Guide outlining my standard rates will be shared directly with you upon inquiry.

Corporate EAP & Consultancy: Bespoke executive wellbeing, clinical supervision, and consultancy packages are quoted individually based on the scope and relational needs of your organization.

Community Practice & Accessibility: At the heart of my philosophy is the belief that financial circumstances should not stand in the way of high-quality, transformative support. I dedicate a meaningful portion of my practice to lower-fee, sliding-scale spaces. These slots are reserved for local Northallerton clients or those experiencing a period of financial hardship. Please feel free to ask about my current sliding-scale availability when you get in touch.
