About me

Everyone deserves to feel at their best and to receive support when they require it, without shame. I believe that no one's circumstances are less worthy than others. If you are seeking to thrive, understand and explore your own circumstances better, to regain a sense of energy, wellbeing and vitality, (whether working through personal events, setbacks, managing feelings of distress, loss or change), I am here to support your intentions towards health, change, meaning and growth.

I am a fully qualified counsellor offering Counselling and Transactional Analysis (TA) Psychotherapy. I have several years of experience and work with people, adult individuals, couples and groups, offering outdoor and online therapy. I work in a positive, strengths-based, creative and empowering way, in the spirit of getting to know you and to build up a safe therapeutic space together. I work by encouraging humour and valuing your individual experience. I also draw upon 10+ years experience in social work and mental health and 10+ further years working in the health, education and social care realm.

Discretion, empathy, compassion, professionalism and insight, I have worked in the UK and Canada with a range of client groups, including military personnel and young people; for Help for Heroes, NSPCC and YoungMinds.

My special focus and enthusiasm is taking therapy outdoors, to reconnect, review, recover and restore ourselves. I believe it is the safe, trusting relationship we build together that unlocks the change and healing we are seeking.

Person-centred means your preferences, needs and values truly guide the work we do and the meaning you make. Calm, intuitive and energetic, I enjoy the outdoors/natural world, reading and learning.

Feel free to phone me on 07395 425505 or email to see if we can work together and help you develop a way forward. Outdoors or online. I work Mondays 10-2pm, Wednesdays 7am until 6:30pm, Thursdays & Fridays from 7am-3pm.
