About me

Hello, my name is Kathryn. Thank you for taking the time to view my profile. I am an experienced Clinical Psychologist, registered with The Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC) and British Psychological Society. I am currently working online and can offer online therapy to anyone in the UK. I have worked in the NHS as a Senior Clinical Psychologist and now work as an independent Clinical Psychologist.

I offer evidence based psychological assessment and therapy for individuals who are experiencing difficulty or a pivotal point in their lives where they have come to the realisation that something needs to change in order to move forward. Often people would like help in making sense of what is/has happened and how to move forward.

We will work on your individual goals and tailor therapy to meet your individual needs. I provide a confidential, compassionate and non-judgemental safe space.

First Appointment:

When we first meet, we will discuss what you are currently experiencing, what has brought you to the decision to come to therapy and what your goals are. We will discuss what may be of benefit to you and whether we wish to move forward into therapy together. There is no commitment to proceed and you can stop therapy at any point.

I tailor psychological therapy to meet the needs of the individual. Some of the psychological approaches I use include but are not limited to:

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
