About me

Hi, I’m Kate and I’m a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT therapist) offering online CBT for Anxiety, Low self-esteem and ADHD across the UK. I know how tough it can be to take that first step and ask for help. It might feel scary, but it can also be one of the most life-changing things you ever do. I offer a safe, non-judgmental and compassionate space to explore your thoughts, emotions and behaviours using online CBT, which is UK wide.

Whether you’re feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stuck in negative thinking patterns or unsure of how to move forward, I’ll work with you at your pace, always leading with empathy and respect. Therapy with me is a collaborative process — you’re the expert on your life, and I’m here to help guide and support you through it.

CBT for Anxiety, Low self-esteem, ADHD and Autism

I work with clients who are struggling with Anxiety (including Social Anxiety, Health Anxiety General Anxiety Disorder - GAD, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder – OCD and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder - PTSD), Low Self-Esteem, ADHD and Autism.

🧠 Neurodiversity-Affirming CBT

I specialise in and am passionate about offering adapted CBT tailored to the needs of neurodivergent adults, including those with ADHD and Autism traits. You deserve a therapist who understands and affirms your experience. If you often feel out of step with the world, struggle with masking, sensory overload, or burnout, I can help you find new ways to cope and thrive.

For ADHD, that might include tools for focus, motivation or managing procrastination. For Autism, we’ll take a creative approach to CBT techniques to reduce anxiety or low mood without masking who you are.

🌈 LGBTQIA+ Affirmative Therapy

I’m also passionate about supporting people from the LGBTQIA+ community who may be struggling with anxiety, low self-esteem, internalised shame, or identity-related challenges. I provide a space where you can bring all parts of yourself without fear of judgment or misunderstanding.

Drawing from my own personal experience, I offer empathetic and tailored online CBT sessions which are neurodivergent friendly and LGBTQIA+ affirmative.

How online CBT Therapy works – UK wide

I currently offer online CBT sessions, so you can access support from the comfort of your own home. I am based in the East Midlands so have a good knowledge of Nottingham, Derby, Leicester and Loughborough.

In our first sessions, we’ll explore what’s going on for you and clarify your goals for therapy. From there, we’ll begin to identify patterns in your thinking and behaviour that may be keeping you stuck. I’ll support you in learning practical coping strategies and tools grounded in evidence-based CBT to help you manage anxiety, low mood, and other challenges you may be facing.

We go at your pace, this is your space!
