About me

Relationships/Couples: We’ve been taught that as long as two people really love each other, they can overcome anything. The important part is finding love, the rest will fall into place. The truth is that even happy couples disagree on most things and experience conflict and challenges. It's how you handle the challenges that will determine whether you grow closer together and strengthen the love in the relationship or start to break apart.

Dating/Singles: This idea that there is a ‘right person’ for everyone has created doubt in too many relationships and lead to many breakups. Often we believe the hard part is finding our true love but once we do, the relationship will naturally fall into place If there is conflict, we worry, it must be because we’re not with ‘the right person’. In reality, we need more than just chemistry, that's the easy part. We also need compatibility, compromise and commitment to make things work.

Relationships, like most things in life, require skill and understanding. While it is true that forming a romantic connection is natural experience, how to make sure the person you are with is the right one for you, how to make your relationship happy, successful and full of love requires a conscious understanding on your part.

My passion is relationships, I teach everything that is required to make a relationship successful, from finding the love of your life to helping you repair the relationship you already have.

Unlike traditional relationship therapy, I’m action orientated and do not believe it’s necessary to have open-ended talking therapies that can go on for years. Instead, I help you understand your past experiences so you can make sense of your present. I then educate you on what makes a successful relationship so you can make better choices and achieve what you want for your future.

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

DATING and SINGLE LIFE

Tired of explaining for the hundredth time why such a lovely person like yourself is still single?

If you feel like you’ve tried it all - online dating, speed dating, bars, pubs, cafes - with no results, we can help.

The Executive Club of St. James’s is an exclusive, professional dating agency were we take great effort in screening and only welcoming those individuals who would be great potential partners and are serious about finding a long-term partner. We pay particular attention to people's personal values, lifestyle, sincerity and character - as these are the most important characteristics to form successful long-term relationships.

How do we do this? Among other things, we conduct an initial comprehensive 3-5 hour interview with each new client to assess everything from their relationship history, physical/mental/emotional health, attitudes, values, beliefs, lifestyle, etc. Only myself and my business partner, and owner of the company, ever screen clients to ensure credibility of our work and complete confidentiality of a potential new member.

If you like to learn more or want to be considered for membership, feel free to contact me directly or visit our website theexectiveclubofstjames.co.uk.

Further information

I believe in getting results and genuinely helping people improve their lives.

Traditional open-ended, ongoing therapy/consulting sessions with no clear aim and purpose are often costly and inefficient; they can also sometimes develop into ‘coffee shop chat’ sessions – they can be nice, but you can do that with a friend free of charge.

Going forward I will outline a relationship therapy and consulting plan that speaks to your needs and guide you to build the kind of relationship they've always hoped for.
