About me
I am a professionally qualified couples and individual’s counsellor and a registered member and accredited by the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy.
In these challenging times I see many clients struggling to make sense of their thoughts and feelings in an ever changing world. Perhaps you find it increasingly difficult to communicate effectively in your relationship and with others? Or feel your life has changed since Covid and regularly experience overwhelming anxiety and low mood.
When we learn to unburden our thoughts and feelings we can start to validate what is going on in our world, to work through the stuckness and allow ourselves to enter into the unknown, to help bring about change. In turn giving us a sense of living life and taking control.
If this is you, and you are trying to cope but feeling more anxious and depressed as time goes on, there is help and support, and you are not alone. During these testing times it can feel immensely lonely trying to work through the confusion and the avoidance of seeking help and not knowing where to start. Let me reassure you that regular counselling sessions can help you open your journey to recovery.
I provide a calm and reflective space where you can talk about whatever is on your mind. Together we will explore what is going on to help make sense of your issues, enabling you to have the skills to cope and move forward.
My work as an integrative counsellor is tailored to the client’s specific needs. I draw on my toolkit and skillset to work with clients. I see each client as individually unique and feel privileged to be entering into their world and sharing their journey.
It is important you feel I am the right person for you, and that our relational fit works to support you. My mission is to provide the client with sense of acceptance to feel heard with complete permission to express yourself to explore your world. Feeling stuck in a groove doesn't allow us to fulfil our life and over time we can become our own worst critic.
In order to get the best out of counselling there will be times when I will confront what you say and challenge clients in order to help with reflection and addressing negative and irrational behavioural traits, which prevents the client to progress.
My practices provide a secure and safe environment for you to self-develop and overcome issues. Once you start to believe in yourself, you can experience a healthy way to function in the here and now, learning how to let go and live this life.
You can contact me by email, text or telephone to arrange your assessment to start your counselling in order to help you to start living your life.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
