Psychosynthesis Counsellor (MBACP Registered)

About me

I am a qualified Psychosynthesis therapist working with clients face-to-face or online. My approach is warm, client-centred, and holistic, offering a compassionate space to explore thoughts, emotions, and personal experiences without judgment.

My approach weaves traditional talking therapy with transpersonal embodied practices (Parts work, mindfulness, dreamwork, and somatic approaches) in order to help you deepen self-awareness, explore unconscious patterns, and connect with a greater sense of meaning and purpose. I see my role as working alongside you, assisting you in developing your own understanding of yourself and your experiences to bring about relief and transformation. I have experience working with clients experiencing depression, anxiety, grief, overwhelm, and burnout.

I provide counselling services for adults in Shoreditch, both in person and online, offering a free initial 20-minute consultation call. This is an opportunity for you to decide if I am the right counsellor for you, and we can discuss what sessions would be like going forward. There is no obligation to meet again after this consultation.

If you would like to arrange a free consultation, please email me here. In your message, it would be helpful if you let me know the days and times when you are available to meet.

Once we have agreed to work together, I usually suggest that we have six sessions. Towards the end of these sessions, we can discuss whether you would like to continue for a longer period of time or conclude the work.

Each session will be 50 minutes long and will take place at the same time each week.

Training, qualifications & experience

As a Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP), I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling (Psychosynthesis) and adhere to the BACP's professional code of conduct and good practice. I'm in regular supervision by a BACP-accredited supervisor and engage in regular training to refresh and renew my approach to my work.

My background includes over 15 years experience working within corporate positions in both the Fashion and Music Industries. I have also been a counsellor working for a low-cost counselling service for many years in a voluntary capacity.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
