About Me & DeVernon Psychotherapy Ltd.

Prior to training in CBT, I worked as a Mental Health Practitioner within the NHS, gaining a strong background in Early Intervention in Psychosis (EIP) services.

During my time, I was involved in an audit of the At-Risk Mental State (ARMS) pathway. This experience gave me a deep understanding of complex mental health challenges and the importance of evidence-based, compassionate care.

DeVernon Psychotherapy was founded with the mission of providing accessible and effective Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). My practice is dedicated to empowering individuals with the tools to manage their mental health, focusing on creating a safe and collaborative therapeutic relationship.

Menopause Masters:
As part of my commitment to women's health and digital innovation, I have developed the Menopause Masters Academy. This CBT-based online course is a digital companion for individuals navigating perimenopause and menopause. It offers a structured approach to managing the often-overlooked psychological symptoms, such as anxiety, low mood, and brain fog, by providing psychoeducation, symptom tracking, and CBT-based tools. It is designed to complement clinical care and empower users with self-management strategies to improve their overall well-being.
