About me

I am a Systemic and Family Psychotherapist trained at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust. Working in private practice with individuals, couples and families, I also bring experience across CAMHS (Tier 3), school and community settings, working therapeutically with children and young people aged 0–18. My practice is grounded in systemic thinking, with a focus on understanding emotional, behavioural and mental health difficulties within relational, social, educational and cultural contexts, and co-creating collaborative therapeutic alliances that support meaningful and sustainable change. I previously worked in the Corporate world for 20+ years.

As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.

UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Further information

I specialise in family therapy and work with children, young people, individuals, couples and schools across a range of emotional, behavioural and relational challenges. My approach focuses on understanding each person within the wider context of their relationships, culture and experiences, never in isolation.

I have experience in working with mixed-heritage children and families and I bring a systemic lens to how family, school and peer relationships shape a young person's sense of identity.
