About me

I am a warm and trusted creative psychotherapist, I have a wealth of experience helping clients address a multitude of mental health difficulties from complex trauma, relationship and identity issues, eating disorders and anger management, to anxiety, stress, depression and burnout. I am currently working online and available outside working hours, including weekends for busy clients.

Originally from a corporate creative background, moving into psychotherapy using the arts specifically to work with burnout, anxiety and stress. I have a Master's Degree in Integrative Art Psychotherapy and have years of experience working for the NHS in adult secondary care psychology depts, working with complex needs, personality disorders, psychosis, gender identity, anger issues, ADHD, OCD and PTSD. I am also training as a Mentalisation Based Practitioner with Anna Freud Centre in London. I have volunteered with mental health and well-being charities, schools and hospices.

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
