About me

The Covid pandemic has impacted greatly on our mental health in one way or another.  Some have suffered the agonising pain of losing someone dear to them, others feel the impact of the loneliness and isolation whilst trying to keep themselves safe, which in turn, has caused anxiety and depression to heighten.

Although there has been a great shift in understanding mental health, there is still a depth of misconceptions. sometimes it feels like there is no one to understand and emphasise with how you feel, in turn leaving you to feel very alone in your thoughts and feelings.

I'm an Integrative therapist with an extensive history of providing a warm, non-judgemental, safe environment for you to express your thoughts and feelings that are holding you back from leading a fulfilling life.

As an Integrative therapist, my approach is person-centred. By this, i mean that i put you at the heart of the therapy because it is my belief that no one else knows you better than yourself. I am not restricted to one approach, i also incorporate mindfulness CBT therapy if i feel it would be useful.

As an individual, you have the potential to be the best you can be and to be at peace with yourself. My approach aims to provide you with those tools to enable you to reach your full potential and to find peace to live a fuller, content life.

There is no shame in seeking help and guidance. As a counsellor i am here to help you feel less alone and to work with you to gain a greater understanding and acceptance of life challenges that may be barriers to living a peaceful life.

I have many years of experience, supporting a wide range of clients from a variety of age groups and all with different issues. No one person is the same as the other.

If you require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
