Peaceful Minds (MBACP) Registered

About me

Hello, my name is Julie Flower.

I am an experienced BACP Registered Counsellor, Transformational Life Coach and Aura Scanning Practitioner.

I help people break free from the patterns that keep them stuck and guide them toward a life that feels authentic, fulfilling and aligned.

My journey into counselling and coaching began with my own transformation. After years of people-pleasing, living in survival mode, and putting others needs before my own, I reached a point where I felt overwhelmed, emotionally drained, permanently anxious and disconnected from who I truly was. Receiving counselling changed everything for me; it gave me the space to be heard, understood and supported in a deeply healing way.

Through that process, I discovered my strengths, understood my patterns and reconnected with my true self. It inspired me to train as a counsellor and life coach so I could offer that same powerful experience to others.

In 2020, I discovered a system that could help with problems on an even deeper level. It is called Energy4life and this system works on the premise that your body is more than biochemistry, it is an energy network that, when running smoothly, helps you experience good health, energy and good moods. But when that energy is disrupted, you run into problems. You may feel more stressed, fatigued, and have sleep or digestive issues. This system pinpoints where your energy is stuck, then offers solutions on how to remove that blockage, enabling your energy to flow freely again. This system works so well alongside my coaching and counselling, although it can be used as a stand-alone treatment.

How I Work

I provide a warm, nurturing and confidential space where you can feel safe to explore your thoughts and emotions without judgement. Together, we gently uncover the root causes of what is holding you back and help you move forward with clarity and confidence.

My approach combines:

  • Talking therapy
  • Transformational life coaching
  • Energy4life system (aura scanning)
  • Hypnotherapy
  • Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)

The above can be used combined or as stand-alone treatments. I find using this integrative approach allows us to work not just at the surface level, but deeply, emotionally, mentally and physically, so real, lasting change can happen.

What I Can Help With

I support clients with:

  • Anxiety and overwhelm
  • Low mood and emotional blocks
  • Low self-esteem and confidence
  • Relationship challenges
  • Life transitions and feeling "stuck"
  • Burnout, fatigue and stress-related symptoms

By identifying and releasing underlying patterns, you can begin to feel lighter, clearer and more in control of your life.

My Philosophy

I believe every person has incredible potential. With the right support, awareness and guidance, you can reconnect with who you truly are and create a life you genuinely love.

I am living proof of this transformation. My life today looks very different, I embrace joy, connection, movement and new experiences, and I am passionate about helping others do the same.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

You can contact the Counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
