About me

Hello, my name is Julie Flower.

I am a fully qualified registered counsellor (MBACP), with 10 years experience. I have my own private practise and work from my own private peaceful garden, online or face to face in Chester or Widnes clinics, I also offer walk and talk sessions in nearby parks. I am fully insured and a registered member of the BACP.

Would you like to:

Regain peace in your life, creating calm and clarity in your world ?

Manage your anxieties ?

Lift your mood ?

Improve your relationships ?

Manage overwhelm ?

Find your meaning and purpose ?

Discover your true self ?

Create a life you love based on who you really are ?

Maybe I can help ?

I have experienced anxiety, depression, burnout myself but through the work I do I have understood and healed my issues, I have discovered who I really am and created a joyful life based on my true values and my core self.

I offer a warm, safe and nurturing space in which I can help you unravel your mind, understand your emotions and gain clarity enabling you to move forward in life and live the life you desire.

I am also a fully qualified hypnotherapist, Personal development coach and Emotional Freedom practitioner. I have a great interest in spiritual and energy work and own a frequency device which tunes into your energy field giving you a full aura analysis and balance if that is of interest to you it also sends frequencies to help heal your source of pain to include anxiety, depression insomnia and many other conditions.

I offer a bespoke service as each client is completely unique, and this starts with the option of a free 15 minute telephone consultation in which I can assess your needs you can then decide if you would like to make an appointment.

I also run weekly personal development groups, and mental health walks in small groups. The personal development groups are for you if you are interested in finding out more about yourself mentally, emotionally and spiritually. The mental health walks include a discussion on a particular mental health subject and a chance to see how it may apply to yourself. These groups are a great chance to meet like minded people if that is your choice.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
