About me

Hi, I'm Julie, I run Julie Barfoot Talking Therapies based in Teesside.

I offer personalised cognitive behavioural therapy for anxiety, depression, low self esteem and wellbeing issues. I also offer EMDR for trauma and anxiety disorders.

If you are considering therapy but unsure how to proceed or what it entails, please ring for a no obligation telephone consultation. You can also take a look around my website to get an idea of who I am and if you feel you can work with me.

I am available for face to face sessions, Zoom, email and telephone sessions on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 7.45am until 4pm (last appointment). I offer long term, single or short term sessions. I charge £75 per session for CBT and EMDR.

Please take advantage of my free 20 minute telephone consultation to ask any questions or get to know me a little more, there is no obligation to go ahead.

I look forward to chatting with you, thanks for reading!

Key details

Wheelchair user access
Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a Counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the Counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.

I offer telephone, email and skype services.
