I am a solution and results focused practitioner. Our work together will generally focus on three areas: Narrative, Emotions, and Behaviour.
I have worked within the statutory and voluntary sector in the fields of addiction, education, and criminal justice, for over fifteen years. I possess both theoretical and practical insight into the mechanisms of attitudinal and behavioural change. Crucially, I also possess the pedagogic and motivational skills to give my clients the best possible chance of achieving lasting change.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a qualified counsellor and hypnotherapist and an accredited registrant member of The National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society.
Having worked within integrated mental health and substance misuse teams at a number of prisons in South East England, I am qualified in the management and care of individuals in the custodial environment and a trained and experienced drug and alcohol recovery worker. I am also a qualified counsellor and hypnotherapist.
Professional Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling.

The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society This Not For Profit association of counsellors and psychotherapists aim to support the counselling profession, members and training organisations. In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
