A unique experience of OCD therapy with a man who understands you. I experienced OCD from an early age, have been where you are now, & have successfully recovered from OCD. I understand the nature of your OCD experiences & how to lead you out of your OCD labyrinth. I provide an innovative synergy of evidence-based therapies for OCD (CBT ~ ERP, RF-ERP, MCT, ACT, CFT, & I-CBT) that go right to the heart of our OCD experiences.
Before recovering from OCD myself, I experienced many different OCD themes, including "taboo" themes & other debilitating & surreal themes, so I can promise you both understanding & discretion.
I work with all Pure O OCD related themes, including taboo themes (e.g. POCD, Incest OCD), sexual themes (e.g. Homosexual OCD (HOCD) / Sexual Orientation OCD (SO-OCD)), & violent themes (e.g. Harm OCD), Magical Thinking OCD, Superstition / Supernatural OCD, Relationship OCD (ROCD), False Memory OCD, Hit & Run OCD, Real Event OCD, Somatic OCD / Sensorimotor OCD, Existential OCD, Moral OCD / Scrupulosity OCD, Symmetry & Exactness OCD, Just Right OCD, Checking OCD, Contamination OCD, Pure O OCD, & “surreal” themes.

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.

Even though OCD is often seen as an extremely challenging mental health issue, with Doctor Pointer some of his clients are recovered from OCD within as little as 4 to 6 sessions, most within 6 to 12+ sessions, & a very small percentage of his clients choose to have less frequent ad hoc sessions, for an extended period of time, past their initial weekly sessions.
