About me
I’m Jonathan, and I believe in the power of genuine connection, a safe, supportive space where you can share openly and begin to understand yourself more deeply.
As a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist, my approach is integrative and deeply person-centred. I focus on supporting clients through challenges such as addiction, trauma, anxiety, and low self-worth, helping you find resilience and meaning in your experiences.
I believe therapy works best when it feels safe, collaborative, and genuine. Together, we’ll explore what’s going on for you at your own pace, focusing on your strengths and what’s possible for the future.
Reaching out for support can feel daunting, but it’s a powerful act of self-care. You don’t have to face things alone. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, addiction, trauma, or self-worth, therapy can help you rediscover your strength and rebuild trust in yourself. If you’re ready to start that journey, I’d be honoured to walk alongside you.
My integrative approach draws on person-centred principles as well as elements of solution-focused brief therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, and dialectical behavioural therapy, helping you move at your own pace toward greater clarity, confidence, and emotional balance.

As an integrative counsellor, I draw from person-centred therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic principles. This allows me to tailor sessions to your unique needs, offering a supportive and collaborative space to explore what’s happening in your life.
At the heart of my work is a person-centred philosophy, grounded in empathy, compassion, and authenticity. Together, we can work toward greater self-understanding, resilience, and healing, helping you find balance and clarity in the areas that matter most to you.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
