About me

John Waterston is a fully qualified and registered psychotherapist offering long and short-term individual psychotherapy and counselling for people with all kinds of emotional and psychological distress. John works in a private house in the village of Great Saxham, 3 miles west of Bury St Edmunds - the consulting room there is peaceful, comfortable and confidential.

I have over 25 years experience in this field and you are welcome to contact me for advice and guidance if you are unsure what kind of help you might need.

Over the years, I have helped people from all walks of life with distressing feelings such as anxiety, depression, chronic worry, unhappiness, stress at work and at home. I am also experienced in helping couples who may be suffering conflict, distress and confusion within their relationship.

As an experienced teacher and supervisor of Psychotherapists and Counsellors I can support the professional development of other therapists and am also available for coaching of general corporate growth and change management.
