About me
Life can feel heavy at times. You may find yourself feeling anxious, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward, often carrying experiences that have been difficult to speak about. Therapy is about having a safe space to talk, to express yourself openly, and to better understand yourself and your experiences.
At Jodi’s Therapy Room, I offer a calm, confidential space where you are listened to with care and met without judgement.
I have availability for sessions in-person in Rosyth and online.
Training, qualifications & experience
Qualifications
- Diploma in Pluralistic Counselling and Psychotherapy
- BSc Psychology (Hons)
Beyond my formal qualifications, I regularly pursue professional training to ensure my clients receive the highest quality of care.
My Experience
Survivors of Childhood Sexual Abuse
I have experience working with adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse, supporting people to talk openly and at their own pace. I understand that trauma affects each person in different ways, and I work with individuals to explore how their experiences have shaped them, the coping strategies they have developed, and the aspects that may still feel distressing.
Anxiety and Depression
I work alongside individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, or emotional overwhelm, offering a calm and supportive space to understand what is happening beneath the surface. Together, we explore patterns, triggers, and practical ways to manage difficult thoughts and feelings, helping you feel more grounded and in control.
Difficulties at Work
Work can impact our well-being in profound ways. I support individuals facing workplace stress, low confidence, burnout, or complex professional relationships, helping them build clarity, strengthen boundaries, and reconnect with their sense of capability.
