About me

I'm Jo, a qualified person-centred counsellor based in Crediton. I have experience with working with loss, bereavement, trauma, anxiety, overwhelm, and people with long-term health conditions, or with caring responsibilities. I'm available for short-term or long-term work, in-person or online. I am a fully qualified counsellor, an accredited member of the NCPS, and also a horticultural therapist and bibliotherapist.

As a person-centred counsellor my role is to provide you with a safe space to explore whatever you might be struggling with. I won't rush you, we can go at your own pace, free from judgment, in a gentle and supportive way. I am calm and reflective, and I draw upon mindfulness, breathwork, and nature-based therapy to enhance the therapy that I offer.
