I am an experienced and qualified Humanistic psychotherapist / counsellor with over 17 years of experience within the NHS, Criminal Justice System, voluntary sector, education and Private Practice. I work with individuals and couples for short or long term counselling or psychotherapy. I offer a professional, safe and confidential space in which you can explore and resolve many of life’s challenges and difficulties. Weekday and evening sessions are available from my comfortable consulting room at Smithbrook Kilns in Cranleigh.
I work with a range of presenting issues including relationship issues, stress and anxiety, depression, bereavement and loss, trauma, abuse, life decisions and drug and alcohol dependency.
I am a registered member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy)

I have extensive experience of delivering and managing counselling services and drug and alcohol treatment within the NHS, Educational Settings, The Voluntary Sector, Community Services and The Criminal Justice System.
My management experience includes performance management and recruitment and the provision of supervision to a team of clinicians, volunteers, social work students and service champions.
Individual session: £55 per hour session.
Couples: £60 per hour session
Concessionary rates available to students. I welcome enquiries from counselling students.
My practice is situated at Smithbrook Kilns, Cranleigh, Surrey. It is conveniently accessible from Guildford, Horsham, Woking, Farnham, Haslemere, Godalming, Dunsfold, Rudgewick and Dorking. Public transport stops at Smithbrook Kilns and the site has ample free parking.
All inquiries will be treated in confidence. An initial session enables you to explore your current concerns and establish if working with me would be useful to you at this time.
Comfortable therapy/counselling/consultancy room available to rent to qualified insured practitioners. Evening, day-time and weekend slots available from 8 am – 9.30 pm at very reasonable rates. The site is safe, secure and well lit in the evenings, ideal if out of hours appointments are required. Please contact me for further details.
