About me

I am an experienced couples therapist, working with both individuals and couples with a focus on relationships of all kinds.

I specialise in issues including anxiety, detachment, feelings of insecurity, fear of intimacy, feeling unheard or under valued, self expression and low self esteem, and how these may present in relationships. This includes couple dynamics and communication, intergenerational tensions in parent/child or sibling relationships, personal and workplace friendships, and historic and present family trauma.

I work with both couples and individuals, and can support you with your communication , negotiating conflict in relationships, understanding and building healthy connections, relationship breakdown, loss of confidence and rebuilding trust and emotional resilience.

Using a combination of psychodynamic and relational therapy, my focus is on working collaboratively with you as an individual, or as a couple together, to build more fulfilling relationships and develop self-esteem and confidence.

During our sessions, we will work together to address areas of concern, to foster a deeper understanding of your systemic behaviour and your beliefs and values, and help you to identify opportunities for long-term change in how you relate to yourself and others.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am qualified in psychotherapy and counselling and am also a fully qualified Relate couples counsellor.

I have a qualification in psychotherapy from Regents University and a CPCAB-accredited qualification in Relationship counselling. I am also a fully qualified Relate counsellor.  I am a member of the NCPS accredited register, I am fully insured and I hold a current DBS check. I have regular supervision with a qualified supervisor and undertake ongoing CPD learning.
