MBACP Registered Integrative Counsellor

About me

Are you seeking someone who truly understands the complexities of life and is dedicated to helping you navigate them?

Whether you're carrying a heavy emotional burden or simply need to reflect and grow, I am here to provide a safe, non-judgemental space where you can explore and start to understand your worries and difficulties. Together we can work through issues, for example anxiety, depression or feeling lost and stuck.

As a qualified and experienced integrative counsellor, I don’t believe in a “one-size-fits-all” approach. Every individual is unique, and my methods reflect this. I carefully tailor my approach to fit your needs, combining the most suitable psychological theories and methodologies to ensure you feel heard, valued, and empowered to overcome challenges...

In addition to being a therapist I am also a British Sign Language interpreter. Not only can I offer sessions in BSL allowing Deaf individuals to express themselves freely, it provides me a wealth of experience that extends beyond traditional counselling. My work in this field also gives me valuable insight into professions prone to vicarious trauma and the emotional toll of witnessing challenging events.

You’ll find me warm, approachable, honest, and deeply passionate about the transformative power of counselling. I genuinely believe that taking time to invest in your mental health is one of the most valuable steps you can take for personal growth and well-being, because of this I offer your first session for free and without obligation.

So, if you're ready to explore, heal, and thrive, let’s embark on this journey together. Your well-being matters, and I would be honoured to support you every step of the way...

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
