About me
I'm a somatic psychotherapist with fifteen years experience working with anxiety, trauma and relationship difficulties. Somatic psychotherapy works with the body as well as the mind because our earliest experiences, our relational wounds and our survival patterns don't just live in our thoughts. They live in our nervous system, our physical body and our emotional triggers.
I help you develop inner safety by reducing negative self talk, understanding your inner critic and connecting more fully with your inner child and emotions. Anxiety is a signal from your nervous system that your body and inner child don't feel safe, usually because of past experiences that taught you you need to be on guard, hypervigilent and self critical to survive. My approach to anxiety is not to try to get rid of it, but to understand what your nervous system is trying to communicate so you can respond to it appropriately, soothe your inner child and feel safer within.
If you’ve tried therapy in the past and found that certain patterns keep resurfacing, it’s often because traditional talk therapy doesn’t fully address the body and nervous system, where emotional memory and stress are stored. By including these missing pieces, I work with the root causes of your struggles, not just the surface symptoms.
For insights and practices on nervous system regulation and inner child healing, you can find me on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube.
What I offer
I offer a combination of psychotherapy, nervous system healing and body based somatic therapy for a deeper level of healing. This approach allows you to develop a greater understanding of your emotional responses, patterns and triggers. I also integrate embodiment practices to calm your nervous system and bring you back into balance and connection with yourself.
How I work
I offer a confidential space to explore and resolve past experiences and current situations so you can be free of daily struggle, regulate your nervous system and step into your authentic self.
The first step is to set up a free call to talk through what you need help with and to see if we're a good fit to work together. You can book the call now through the introductory call link.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
