About me
I am a Clinical Psychologist with over 14 years’ experience working with adults across both NHS and private practice settings. I offer confidential psychological therapy online, supporting people with a wide range of difficulties and life experiences.
I take a compassionate, collaborative and person-centred approach, recognising that everyone is different and that there is no single approach that works for everyone. I draw on a range of evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Behavioural Family Therapy (BFT).
I believe that finding the right fit between therapist and client is really important. My aim is to provide a warm, non-judgemental and supportive space where you can feel comfortable being yourself and work collaboratively towards the changes that are important to you.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a Clinical Psychologist with a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Leeds and over 14 years’ experience working across a range of settings within both the NHS and private practice.
I have experience working with a wide range of psychological presentations, including anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive difficulties (OCD), relationship difficulties and issues relating to self-esteem. I also have particular experience in working with neurodiversity, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and ADHD.
My clinical training and experience have given me a broad range of therapeutic skills, allowing me to take an integrative approach and tailor therapy to the individual. I draw on evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Behavioural Family Therapy (BFT), depending on the needs and preferences of the person I am working with.
Alongside my clinical practice, I am involved in the training and development of future Clinical Psychologists through my work with the University of Edinburgh Clinical Psychology Doctorate.

Further information
Taking the first step towards therapy can feel daunting, and I aim to make the process as comfortable as possible. I offer a free initial telephone consultation, giving us an opportunity to talk briefly about what you are looking for and consider whether I might be the right person to support you.
All appointments are offered online, allowing you to access therapy from a place that feels comfortable and private for you. I work collaboratively with clients and place great importance on creating a therapeutic relationship based on trust, compassion and understanding.
I believe that therapy should be a space where you feel heard, respected and understood, without judgement.
