About me
Hello, and welcome to my profile. I am a qualified and experienced counsellor and trainee psychotherapist with a wide range of experience. I work with clients who experience anxiety, depression, are navigating perinatal and parenthood, vegans and climate-related anxiety. I work online, in person and outdoors within nature. I am passionate about supporting individuals who are navigating their experiences around having or not having children and providing therapy in a flexible, compassionate way when clients often need it most.
Within the confidential and empathic counselling relationship, we can build confidence and trust to explore present and past difficulties in order to bring to light patterns of thinking and feeling that may be holding you back. It’s important to find an experienced professional like myself, with whom you feel comfortable to do this work of self-discovery and healing. I am committed to working with my clients in a collaborative way. This means I walk alongside you, at your own pace, on your deeply personal and unique healing journey to release past burdens and find wellness, renewed vitality and joy. Working with awareness of our relationship with the wider world and wider web of life, often outside in nature in therapy sessions can provide an added layer of support and wellness and also often greater insight into disharmonies and pathways to connect.
I been working with children, young people and adults for over twenty years within Education and Mental Health in the UK and in Latin America, the Middle East and India. I has trained in advanced integrative psychotherapy, relational Transactional Analsysis at Metanoia and The Link Centre. I am a member of the Climate Psychology Alliance, BACP, UKCP and UKATA and has trainings in the Climate Aware Practitioner series. I facilitate regular Climate Cafes and EcoTherapy groups near Brighton.
