About me
HCPC & BAAT registered Art Psychotherapist with a psychodynamic approach. Working in 1:1 sessions with adults. A space to explore/discover needs, enhancing self-awareness and fostering growth with art materials available to use as a possibility to articulate and understand differently, alongside talking, which may also be helpful.
Experience of working with adults and children in clinical, school & community settings within the public sector in 1:1 & group sessions.
Drawing on the intersubjectivity of theories & research across fields of psychology, philosophy, science, arts, nature, and creative practices, to support the framework held to the experience and work of therapy in the context of intersectionality & socio-economic factors.
Working alongside each client to attune, explore & review the therapy, moving towards hopes & intentions for their therapeutic experience.

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
